BJ's Wholesale Club - West Nyack, New York

Not busy at all when I arrived to pick up an order I placed online. Never did an online order through BJs, so I was unfamiliar with the process. I had two people talk to me, but not really help me at all. One pointed to the pick up point and the supervisor told me to just wait there when I said I was here to pick up an order. Neither helped me with the check in process, which seemed like a no brainier. I had all this time on my hands, so o wrote this review

Went here with my mom on Saturday November 16th 2024 to pick up some little hot dogs for appetizers after going to the walmart in suffern and they didn't have any. This is the 1st time that i've walked into here, and let me tell you, can get awfully busy on the weekends. Nice to see a Bj's Crowded though. It also looks smaller than our local bj's in monroe, but it is also located in a mall, so gotta take the space available. We entered the store, and headed to the freezer section, which was in the back. Store was very clean both inside and out. We immediately found little hot dogs and then waited on line. The line came out to all the way to the back of the store, and we only had one item. Luckily a lady came up to us while on line, and told us that we can pay for our item in guest services (Member services) , since we only had one and the line was long. That's exactly what we did. The employee at guest services was very nice, and proceeded the transaction smoothly. We then headed on our way to our final destination.

Im not from the area but the bakery at this BJs is TOP TIER!!!! They were very helpful and was able to make my request happen. I’ve been to many BJs in the area, but this one has to be the best. They were attentive, supportive, and gave quality service. Jean was the one who specifically served me. Hueuens was also there and was helpful. Thank you both again for all you did.

I feel that the BJ's in West Nyack is poorly managed. Every time I shop at this store I experience long lines. Most times, they only have one cashier open.
For a club that you are paying a membership to have the privilege to shop in, the least they can do is hire more staff to speed along the checkout process.
I have also found on a few occasions that they have out dated products on the floor. The attached photo's was taken on Oct. 9.

I placed a grocery order at BJ’s Wholesale Club and received a message that they were shopping for my items. However, after waiting hours, I received no further updates. The lack of communication is terrible. I ended up with no food and a lot of frustration. This level of service is unacceptable. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

I come to this BJs every week for the last years and never had a complaint. Last week, however, I used one of the flat carts because I was picking up quite a large number of items.
When I went to pay, a very unfriendly lady Called Dolores who said to be the store manager scanned my items. When I got my receipt from her I noticed that she overcharged me by over $90 dollars. I asked her to check the receipts with me because I believe that she had overcharged me. Ms. Dolores checked my receipt and there it was. Now, instead of apologizing for why she’s done, Ms. Dolores (who shouldn’t be near any customer) gave me a very unpleasant attitude and started blaming other people for her mistake.
I am not going to stop coming here, but if this is what it takes for BJs management to know about this, then be it. I spend a lot of money here to be treated like this.
I have the refund receipts to back this, by the way.

I seriously wonder how this organization remains in business! Customer service is non existent , and policies are nonsensical, archaic and downright primitive. There's no trick to it, I come here because Costco and shoprite can be so packed at times but there is a reason Costco is packed and grows in leaps and bounds over BJ's. Save yourself the aggravation and don't waste your time and money on this business.

The deli department is ridiculous. Sunday midday & no customer interaction, snails pace & couldn't give a f attitude. 4 scales , 2 people working .

So here’s my update. The one guy behind the counter tries his best. But there are so many online orders that get prioritized & in store shoppers get to stand in front of the counter and wait for 30+ minutes.

Why ? It just poor store management & PR.
