Sewell Cadillac/corporate was very awesome in the way it solved our vehicle problem. We will and are buying from Sewell again. The Caveat we offer for other customers is understand that Sewell is hand tied by GM, in the case of Cadillac, and by the manufacturer of the other brands that Sewell offers. In the auto dealer industry the dealer is often caught trying to please two masters: the manufacturer and the customer. In our case, once we were able to communicate with dealer management our problem became quickly and easily resolved at far less cost than was originally diagnosed. Moreover, service and sales worked together to identify a solution that went far beyond a discounted quality repair. A dealership manager made phone calls, write emails, researched and advocated for our dilemma, and the result is we are very happy repeat customers that recommend Sewell to family, friends and you. With many other businesses it could have gone very differently. In fact, initially it was not going well with Sewell, but a senior service manager, Ryan, became involved and fixed our problem and got us excited about continuing our 10+ yr experience with Sewell. There’s no zero star option unfortunately. I purchased my new car only 7 months ago, the massive list of issues with this Q7. The breaks already make the worst noise possible- equivalent to the sound of a school bus breaking. We asked multiple Sewell locations to fix it- and have been told to “deal with it” and “it’s common”, we would have never bought this Q7 had we known this would be a common “unfixable” problem 7 months down the road. We’ve pleaded with service managers as well as our sales manager who sold us the car. How terrible to feel scammed and conned into a car that they KNOW will do this.

BEWARE. WORST MB Service EVER. They hire low level techs and do not answer phone calls. The MB service department in Houston completely botched a simple brake replacement on our Mercedes Sprinter Van RV last year, while we were traveling through the area. This caused a whirlwind of issues and stress which lasted almost 2 months of progressive rattling from the wheel. If we did not discover the caliper bolts were LOOSE BY HAND before entering the Rocky Mountains, lord only knows the outcome.

The customer service and management team refunded labor but fought me on refunding the parts, but eventually agreed to refund the full amount, HOWEVER your management was arrogant, uncooperative, unreachable and down right played games with me in repairing the damages at another MB dealership in Denver. The experience literally brought me to tears. It took a MB Service advisor in Denver to hound your team and demand you to pay for damaged brake pads, sensors and stripped caliper bolts.

I was shocked to learn this family supposedly wrote the book on Customer Service. I think not. I suggest you require your team to read it.

My family and I been a longtime customer of Sewell since 1994, but my last two experiences at Sewell been horrible. Brought my car in April for routine maintenance, took into my usual service manager, came back two days later no issue but service Manger was on vacation. Month later come in because of suspected oil leak, normal service manager wasn't there, come back day later to pick up car. Service person says you have excess oil leak , they say they didn't know where it's coming from, but to get an answer it would be $2,000 to run diagnosis or $14,000 to replace the engine. So I declined and it wasn't my normal service manager. So came back about a month later to get a oil change spoke with normal manager everything went smoothly, got my car back he tells me you have a slight oil leak nothing major, just pay attention to your car and if you see oil under the car. So I thought it was just a mistake from earlier technician. On August 13, 2022 a week later the car starts stalling, engine and traction light comes on. I take it in, they call me and tell me you need to replace engine we ran a diagnosis that wasn't $2,000 like before in May. Told me the issue, said it would be $14,000 dollars to replace the engine. I go pick the car up on the August 30, 2022, they replace the spark plugs to buy me some time to make mind up, didn't last a day before the engine light comes on again and stalling. They was telling me they was working on something to get the price down. This whole time I don't have a car I work in medical field, I have a active daughter that lives on the other side of town so I can't pick her up from her activities. I borrow a Co workers car to go speak with service manager to see if there was any progress with the price of September 6, 2022. He told me that they came down to $7,800 , but they were still negotiating. I told him to keep me posted, after that day I never heard anything back until September 19, 2022 almost two week later. This after I called September 9, 12, 13, and the 14th, leaving voice messages with no response.

Sewell Cadillac, I was very surprised by your response to me after I experienced an issue with a 2020 car (not a cadillac) I bought less than 72 hours earlier. I bought the car on a Thursday night, the check engine light came on, on Sunday. Your response was for me to take it to a dealership that sells those cars. My down payment check had not even cleared the bank yet. You took my business and then immediately disappeared. There was no attempt on your part to make it right whatsoever.This is by no means the Sewell service and reputation I know and had become accustomed to. Caveat Emptor.

The best place I have ever bought from. I purchased a new 2020 Buick from the dealership on Lemmon Ave. I love my car. The Service depth. Is great and they completely clean it when I pick it up. Can you believe that. I was completely surprised. This has been going on for me 3 years in May. I think they plan on keeping this up. I have to admit....it works for me.

I leased my 2018 BMW from Sewell of Grapevine. I experienced the Customer Service & left the transaction as a "customer for life" as Sewell advertises. I expected the same from Sewell BMW of Plano; however, even though they are now owned by Sewell, I was VERY disappointed in their customer service. When I ordered the car the sales person said she would call me w/updates. It was ~8 weeks before I got the 1st update. Then I had to call her repeatedly to get further updates once the car was in Houston. It took me 2 days to find out if my car had arrived at the dealership. To make matters worse, my husband and I had an appt to review the car and financing @10am. The finance person did NOT call into the mtg. I left him a VM and he never called me back. I heard from the sales person that it's a new system, he didn't get notified, and didn't get in until 11am. This was at 12:20pm, so the finance person NEVER gave me a courtesy call. I also left a VM with the Sales Mgr and he never called me back. I called Sewell Corp and spoke to a very nice gentleman, who was going to call me back, and he never did. I am disappointed, and even though I love my car, I will think long and hard before I EVER go back to Sewell. They have lost my trust and I no longer believe that they offer the "best vehicle sales & service experience" or that they understand how to create a "customer for life". This makes me sad.

Great Subaru dealership! Love that I can now drive in for service with no appointment scheduled. I have two young children and scheduling anything besides their after school activities or their appointments is challenging enough. Great customer service and beautiful facility.
