It's a 4, not a 5, due to the initial service. The first two salesmen were typical male idiots who thought they knew more and didn't listen. We asked to speak with a saleswoman, and the gentleman said "okay" but continued his sales pitch. We politely repeated ourselves and finally got the awesome saleswoman Michelle. Michelle took care of us exactly how a salesperson should. Everything was explained step-by-step, and the process was simple and easy. They even put a bow on it. Thank you, Michelle. You should give customer service classes to the men in your office. Also, also the business office customer service is amazing thank you Daisy so much for taking care of us. The coffee was Awesome.

My partner and I came into this Carmax with the intent on purchasing a Tesla Model Y that we saw online. Before coming in we called and spoke with a woman named Arie and confirmed a few details. Upon arriving we were greeted by a front desk employee named Torrance and from the get go his attitude was rude, disgusting, and uninviting . My partner and I spoke first and said we were there to see a Tesla Model Y , in which Torrance responded and said its out back. We stood there and were confused because we thought he would take us to see the car, but no he just stood there, so we asked do we go to the back ourselves or would someone take us. In a very dismissive way he told us to go out back ourselves. This confused my partner and I because usually at a car dealership someone greets you and shows you around. We then wrote it off and just assumed that this is how Carmax's operate, especially being that we had never been to one before. It was however, a huge contrast from what we had experienced earlier that day in going to different dealerships and being treated with respect and kindness. So we went searching around for the vehicle in a huge parking lot full of cars and we finally found the car. We checked it out, and decided that we wanted to test drive it. My partner went back inside and told Torrance that we wanted to test drive the Tesla in which Torrance responded stating "We just don't let people test drive cars here". He then asked for our number and said that we definitely wouldn't be test driving the car because it was on hold for someone else. This again confused us because as mentioned earlier we spoke with an Employee named Arie and confirmed that Carmax’s allows test drives and that the car was available. So at this point we decided that we didn't want to purchase the car due to the disgusting customer service from Torrance. We also asked to speak to a manager in which Leo approached us. We explained to Leo that this was our first time visiting a Carmax, and how disgusting and rude Torrance's attitude was. We also explained that we came in with the intent to purchase the Tesla cash if we liked what we saw, but due to us being treated the way that we were and not even being able to test drive the car that we had changed our minds. Leo seemed to be deeply concerned with what had happened and apologized profusely, and even tried to see if there was anything he could do to remedy the situation. I appreciate the manager Leo's tenacity and it made us feel like we were heard and valued. But, overall after our interaction with Torrance we decided to take our business else where. This was our first and last time visiting a Carmax and would never do business with this establishment moving forward. So, I want to warn all of you out there that there is a huge possibility that in coming to this location that you may encounter Torrance and his disgusting and disrespectful attitude and may not be treated with respect. Buying a car should be an enjoyable and thrilling experience, instead we walked away feeling disrespected.

I had the best experience getting my Honda CRV Touring. My salesman Victor was very knowledgeable and friendly, he listened to what we wanted and found us the perfect car for me. Amanda in the Service dept was Awesome and the best, who went above and beyond.

I was very happy selling my Tesla to Carmax. The car was a 2019 model 3. David signed me in and he was really helpful and friendly. The appraisal was higher than expected and definitely higher than trade in to Tesla. I love my Tesla but hate Tesla’s customer service. Tesla doesn’t treat its customers nice once you bought the car. Anyway, I accepted the offer and 1 hour later, I had the check in my hand. Jackie handled the paperwork and she was super helpful as well.

Buying my second car at CarMax Ontario was an easy, fun experience like usual.Vik moved the process along and explained the benefits of the extra warranty. He made the whole thing simple and quick. Then, he presented me with my car with that big yellow bow on top and took a bunch of good pictures with me and my father. It's a very nice memory. Of course a couple days later I thought another car was better and I went in to look at it with Vik. He helped me decide and he answered all my questions about that car. I sat in that car for a long time thinking about Vik's recommendations and what I knew about that particular model versus the model I already drove off the lot , I decided to keep my original purchase which I am of course very happy with. Thank you Vik, you're the best!

Picking up a car for a family member went easy and smooth. Found the car matched the price, took out for a drive and was out in a couple hours. Felt painless this time no money down on approve credit is the best way to go.

Second vehicle I purchased from CarMax and always have a pleasant experience with them.

*Update on my review.

I Purchased my Tahoe back in March of this year.
A week after the purchase of the vehicle my engine light came on.
I called the store where I got it from and I couldn’t get an answer from anyone.
My check engine light was off and on every time I used to put gas on it and my car used to shake when parked.
I took it to the dealership just to find out the Tahoe needs 6k in repairs.
3 months into owning the car.
