Let me start by saying that the salesman, Billy, was phenomenal. Originally this review would have been 5 stars because of him, however, due to other staff's action it will not be. Billy was easy to work with, friendly but professional, quick, efficient, honest, and willing to help however he could. After several different offers with the finance department, we had a deal worked out for a dark grey 2017 Toyota 4Runner TRD Offroad premium that was on the lot 08/2024. Finance guy was nice, but once I declined the first deal they were able to drop the interest rate down almost 5% from the original offer, which is questionable behavior at best. Still I decided to proceed because the deal was acceptable and comparable to others so I was going to purchase. I was leaving my house to come back to do paperwork and finalize the deal we had already discussed, when he let me know the 4runner had been in an accident - backed into a Jeep while getting gas, so due to a dent it would not be ready that night. This 4runner is exactly what I wanted, so if repairs were done correctly and they decreased the price some due to damage, I still would have bought it. The Sales Manager, however, did not feel like the price should come down any further, even though there was a large corner dent on the rear driver side bumper that required repair, including painting and popping the bumper back into place - damage that was caused accidentally by their own staff - yet they would not take any off the price. The original price was a fair price to begin with, prior to damage, but it still wasn't some remarkable deal on a 4runner. I absolutely understand accidents happen, and I'm not even mad about that, but actions have consequences, which in this case should have been a price reduction to account for the damage and inconvenience caused to the customer. Again, Billy was great - sales manager and finance, not so much.
