Good and bad experience...

I'll start with the good- Eli, our sales rep was very nice and worked all day for us. He was very personable and responsive to my texts before we got there and answered a lot of questions. Everyone there seemed nice. The finance manager we worked with was great as well.

Now the bad- I was told I would get $25k for my trade in. I sent all the pics, all info, vin number, mileage, everything. My car had a lot of extras too. So we drove 2 hours one way intending to get the car I wanted and get the $25k for my car I was trading in. They first offered $15k, then 18k but I ended up getting $20k after fighting hard and going back and forth negotiating... Lost $5k which I was super disappointed about, especially after driving 4 hours round trip. They tricked me into coming in and lied, which really upset me. I also had to keep calling them about the payoff because it took over 2 weeks for them to payoff that loan as well which I thought was a little weird. I did buy my dream car from them but there was sticky stuff on the buttons everywhere and on the seatbelt. There was also hair and dirt in between the seats, the outside was dusty. It wasn't cleaned very well at all. I had to clean the car after I bought it. And for a car lot, let alone buying an expensive car, I just expected more.

At West Coast Auto Dealers we had the most pleasant experience in regards to purchasing a vehicle ever! Super helpful and thoughtful, not money hungry - just genuinely wanting to make the best deal possible for the customer. I and my wife saw that with our own two eyes. They also went out of their way to help us transfer and secure our children’s car seats in our new car and had found that my son’s car seat had a defect and needed to be replaced! Not to mention that this was around 9pm (2hrs after they had already closed.) They had shown genuine concern for my son and the defective car seat. Josh had gotten back to me the same night with recommendations of car seats he used for his own children and we purchased a new one the next day and let’s just say, it was a great recommendation.
